A week of picking and 1400 miles later......

Hello my friends,

Sorry for the lack of posts lately.  I will not bore you with excuses but a few things have happened since my last post.  A little over a week ago I had my first trip in an ambulance to the ER.  Not fun.  Very scarey!~  I woke up early one morning with a pounding headache and some abdominal cramping.  So I went to the bathroom and sat on the pot and the abdominal pain was so intense!!!! I hollered for my husband and he came to my side.  I told him that something was wrong, I described to him that I thought I was going to faint, and I was sweating and within a matter of seconds I went limp and next thing I knew was I was laying on our bed and overheard my husband talking to 911.  He said that I went unconscious for about a minute.  The pain was still there, I could not lift my head or hardly talk.  I really thought I was dying!!!

I heard the ambulance and to make a long story short.  They could not find anything wrong, They gave me IV fluids and I began to feel better.  After a few hours I was home.  Crazy ha?  I thought maybe food poisoning.  I am better now.  So two days after rest we had a trip planned to go out east picking.

The weather was beautiful!  Our main destination was to  attend the Rural Society Antique and Garden show.  It was better than I could of imagined!  Met some wonderful people.  The show had many vendors setting up as I took pictures the day before the show opened.  I snuck in.  Shame on me.  I introduced myself and they didn't seem to mind my presence taking pictures.

So many wonderful treasures to be bought.  So much talent!!!  It was awesome.  I had been to the Country Living Fair in Atlanta GA last fall and this show was just as wonderful to me.  Not quite as big as CLF but still great.  I did walk away with many treasures as you will see a few as my husband who is the best of the best at loading things just so.  He amazes me how he does it.  After this show we headed towards home.  We junked/picked on the way.  It was a great time.  I have mostly posts of the Antique show but I will post my treasures in a few days.  In a few pics I will point out a few treasures I took home.

We also stopped in a small town of Clifton.  It was a quaint town.  Had a beautiful mill that we checked out.  I will post soon with my treasures.  Have a great week my friends!

Oh my gosh! What fun! I would have wanted to spend the entire weekend to just pick and look. I did get a kick out of the sign that said, "Take a basket for easier shopping". LOL. Yeah right! Just rent me a U Haul! I bet you found some wonderful things. What a fun trip.

What lovely photos. Looks like loads of fun! Sorry to hear about your little spell. There has been a deadly virus around here. Luckily, I got to use the immunity card after having it 6 months ago! But seriously, I thought my husband and kids were going to die from it. They lost 5 lbs each and were weak for a week after. I lost 2 lbs just taking care of them. lol It does make you grateful for the normal.

Mercy,Theresa!! Did you have one heck of an adventure! Both before you left on your trip and after!! So sorry to read about your scare... crazy experience! Thankfully, it was nothing life threatening. Your poor husband was probably scared out of his mind with worry! And such treasures you found on your junking trip! Way to go, sister!!

That looked like some fun shopping. I went to the Country Living Fair last fall too and intend to go again this year. I don't see a farm tour tab to view like you said on the comment you left on Houzz. BTW, I have been over here before and followed you so I may have seen the tour.
